Indian ace shuttler Saina Nehwal took to Twitter to show her frustration after she faced a defeat at the hands of Denmark's Mia Blitchfeldt 21-15, 25-27, 12-21 in the round of 16-match of the BWF World Championships on Friday.

Saina quoted fellow Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap's tweet who was shocked at the level of poor umpiring during Saina-Mia's match.

"2 match-points snatched away by bad umpiring . And numerous wrong decisions . Unbelievable that there are no reviews on other courts at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. When will our sport get better? SICK @bwfmedia @HSBCBWF  @NSaina #feelingcheated #totalbwfworldchampionships2019," Kashyap's tweet read.

Saina then replied to his tweet by posting, "still can’t believe 2 match points which the umpire overruled in the second game . And the umpire tells me in the mid of second game “let the line umpires do their job” and I dnt understand suddenly how the umpire overruled the match points..very sick @bwfmedia @HSBCBWF."

The world number eight Nehwal won the first game with a margin of six points. Despite having a lead of 9-12 in the second game at the point, she lost in it. The second game was extremely long as both the players shared 52 points with each other.

In the third game, the world number 12 Mia did not give any chance to Nehwal to come back as she clinched the game 21-12 to win the one hour and 12 minutes long encounter.

With this defeat, Nehwal ended her journey in the tournament while Mia will proceed to the quarterfinals.

In other news, P. V Sindhu knocked out 25-year-old Tai Tzu Ying in the quarterfinals of the BWF World Badminton Championships 2019 on Friday in Switzerland.

This was a massive upset for the current world number two from Chinese Taipei.

After a rough start to the match, P. V Sindhu brought it back on the day to 12-21, 23-21, 21-19 and secured her spot in the Semis of World Championships.
