On Saturday, the Pakistan cricket team visited the Wagah border at the conclusion of their training camp on to witness the flag-lowering ceremony at the historic venue.
And medium pacer Hassan Ali, known for being a crazy entertainer, couldn’t resist as he showed off his infamous wicket-celebrating gesture. To loud chants of Pakistan Zindabad and Jeevey Jeevey Paksitan, the 24-year-old carried out his unique moves, which explains why he has been nicknamed the Generator.
The cricketer wrote on Twitter: “Always stay high like a moon mera Pakistan. Shukariyaa Pakistan," the cricketer tweeted following the visit.”
The team made the trip to get a boost ahead of their departure for England on Sunday. Pakistan will take on Ireland for a lone Test match on May 11 before playing a two-Test series against England on May 24 and June 1.
The flag-lowering ceremony is one of the most anticipated daily events at the Wagah border with lot of people assembling both in Indian and Pakistani side to witness it.
