Neymar has reportedly unfollowed Paris Saint-Germain teammate Edinson Cavani on Instagram after the pair clashed over set pieces at the weekend. The match saw star forwards Neymar and Cavani argue over who should take a penalty kick. Cavani won the argument with Neymar only to have the penalty spectacularly saved by Anthony Lopes.
Tensions between the duo had already surfaced earlier in the game when Dani Alves took the ball out of Cavani's hands and gave it to Neymar to take a free-kick on the edge of the area.
It’s said that within 20 minutes of the final whistle, Cavani had already packed his bags and left the Parc des Princes. He also decided to skip the mixed zone and the rest of his team by sneaking out using one of the stadium’s back entrances. And now Neymar has responded by unfollowing Cavani on social media, which suggests there’s already trouble in paradise.
Meanwhile, the social media is having fun at the rift.
"This is him dad, right there, yeah yeah, Cavani. He won't let me take penalties." pic.twitter.com/DBCPeWF4kj — Transfer Related (@TransferRelated) September 18, 2017
Neymar unfollowed Cavani on Twitter because he refused to let him take a penalty. My youngest brother isn't this childish, he's 12

While some twitter users came up with 'useful' suggestions to solve the problem...
If Cavani nd Neymar keep arguing about who should take a penalty then the coach should just give it to Mbappe. African parents do this alot — Henry (@ChinonsoOrji4) September 18, 2017
Neymar and Cavani should do this next time. No more fights. pic.twitter.com/AzDB5SYMLe — Lukita (@ModricEsque) September 18, 2017
...it made some others remember another star.
