Here are live updates of Day 1 of the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.

The Asian Games 2018 kick-off on Sunday as the best athletes from the continent get ready to aim for glory. For India, stars like Kidambi Srikanth, Manu Bhaker and Sushil Kumar will be in action on the opening day.
A spectacular pyrotechnic show, including a simulated volcanic eruption, lit up the Jakarta skyline on Saturday night as Indonesia rolled out the red carpet for the continent's elite athletes in the opening ceremony for the 18th Asian Games.
The country's president Joko Widodo made an unorthodox and dramatic entrance to the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, riding a motorbike onto the stage before officially opening Indonesia's second hosting of the Asiad.
The formalities, however, are all over and it's time for the athletes to take center-stage. India will compete in as many as 14 sports on Sunday.
Kabaddi: Indian women's team thrashes Japan 43-12 in Group A match.
Shooting: Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar qualify for final of 10m air rifle event.
Rowing: Dattu Bhokanal finishes second in men's singles sculls heat. Can qualify for final through repechage.
Swimming: Srihari Nataraj qualifies for the final of the men's 100m Backstroke.
Rowing: Om Prakash and Sawarn Singh qualify for the final in Men’s Double Sculls.
Swimming: Sajan Prakash qualifies for Men's 200m Butterfly final.
Rowing: Indian men's team of Malkeet Singh and Gurinder Singh qualify for final.
Basketball: Indian women's team loses 61-84 to Chinese Taipei in first group game.
Rowing: Sayali Shekale and Pooja qualify for Women's Double Sculls Final.
MEDAL ALERT: India bag their first medal, a bronze for Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team.
Wrestling: Sushil Kumar bows out in qualifying round of men's 74 kg category.
Shooting: Shooters Manvjit Singh and Lakshay Sheraon finish first and fifth respectively on Day 1 of qualification of the Men's Trap event.
Wrestling: Sandeep Tomar qualifies to the quarter-finals in the men's 57 kg category.
Kabaddi: Indian men's team beats Bangaldesh 50-21 in its opening match.
Wrestler: Bajrang Punia qualifies for the quarter-finals in the men's 65 kg category.
Badminton: India beat Maldives 3-0 in opening round of men's team event.
Wrestling: Pawan Kumar loses in the men's 86 kg category.
Wrestling: Bajrang Punia reaches the semi-finals in men's 65 kg category.
Wrestling: Bajrang Punia reaches the finals in men's 65 kg category.
Kabaddi: Indian men beat Sri Lanka in second group match.

India end the day with two medals. Bajrang Punia bagged the gold medal in 65kg Freestyle Wrestling. Earlier, Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar got India off the mark with a bronze in 10m air rifle Mixed final.
India women's hockey team thrashed Indonesia 8-0 in their Group opener, while India's men and women kabaddi teams began their respective title defences with impressive victories.
In swimming Sajan Prakash finished fifth in the Men's 200m Butterfly, while Srihari Nataraj finished seventh in the Men's 100m Backstroke final.
In wrestling, Pawan Kumar came close to clinching a bronze but was beaten in the playoff. However, overall it was a disappointing day for Indian male wrestlers who failed to bag another medal with Sushil Kumar losing in the opening round.

Bajrang made a flying start in the bout taking an early 6-0 lead. However, Takatani fought back to make it 6-4 at the end of first period.
In the second period, Takatani managed to get through Bajrang’s defence early and made it 6-6. However, Bajrang got back into the game to make it 8-6.
Both wrestlers took two points during one move to make it 10-8. It went down to the final seconds and the Indian got another point when Japan’s review failed.
And the action is underway in Wrestling.First the Repachage Bronze Medals in 57kg, followed by same in 65 where Bajrang fights for Gold. In the 86 Pawan Kumar will fight for Bronze

Wrestling
Pawan Kumar now gets a shot at winning the Bronze medal as he enters the repechage round in Men’s Freestyle 86 kg. He got the chance as Iran’s Hassan Yazdani reached the final with another dominating win.
However, Mausam Khatri's challenge in 97kg Freestyle Wrestling ended after Uzbekistan's Mogomed Ibragimov lost in the semi-final.
Shooters Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar are assured a medal in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team.
Korea are knocked out, India remain in second position after 38 shots with three teams remaining.
Two more shots by each shooter now will decide who takes bronze.
