The South African cricket team led by the fiery AB de Villers has been in great form in the current edition of the quadrennial, mega event. As the Proteas get ready to face giant killers and tournament favourites New Zealand (also in unbeatable form) in the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2015 on Tuesday, March 24 will they able be able to shake off the tag of 'chokers'?

The Proteas believed to be one of the strongest contenders in the tournament and the fiercest ODI team will enter the finals this year is a big question mark confronting the team.

Often believed to tank, the team has failed to lift the cup.

In the 2nd semi final of the 1992 World Cup Kepler Wessels-led South Africa was unlucky to lose in a rain interrupted match against England at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

England won by 19 runs.
