Zdravko Kuzmanovic shines in Serbia's 3-0 win over Algeria

Midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic scored one goal and set up another in Serbia's emphatic 3-0 win over fellow World Cup qualifiers Algeria in front of 60,000 passionate fans on Wednesday.

Kuzmanovic's deflected 55th-minute shot gave Serbia a 2-0 lead after striker Marko Pantelic had fired them ahead in the first half. The playmaker then teed up substitute Zoran Tosic to add the third.

Both sides threw caution to the wind in an entertaining first half and Pantelic took one of Serbia's several chances when he turned in a superb Milan Jovanovic cross. 

The pace of the game subsided as both coaches made several substitutions at halftime but Serbia caught the home side napping when Kuzmanovic picked up a half-cleared low cross by Tosic and drilled it in off an Algerian defender.

Tosic, who has rediscovered his form since joining German side Cologne on loan from English champions Manchester United in January, side-footed home the third shortly after he narrowly missed following a jinking solo run.

Serbia face Germany, Australia and Ghana in World Cup Group D in South Africa in June while Algeria's Group C rivals are England, Slovenia and United States.
