Mumbai: The top 32 squash players from across the world will descend on Mumbai to play in the inaugural Punj Lloyd PSA Masters 2009. The unique tournament, to be held from December 5 to 8, has been conceptualised by Professional Squash Association (PSA) and Punj Llyod Group, will be played in an all- glass court or the Thunderdome on the lawns of the Bombay Gymkhana. The winner will have a chance to pocket $1,52,000, the highest prize money for a squash tournament in the country.

India will be represented by Saurav Ghosal and Ritwik Bhattacharya at the event. "This is a tremendous thing for Indian squash and the exposure that everyone will get from it will be huge. These are the fittest and fastest men whose skills will be on display over here. It will be a great event for the juniors in the country to see their heroes just meters away from them," Ritwik told DNA.
