The match started two hours late after rain forced a delayed start and first reduced the match to 41 overs a side.

But rain returned after 3.3 overs when the West Indies were 27 for no loss.

Play resumed after nearly 15 minutes and the loss of time meant that the match was reduced to 39-over-a-side.

Earlier, visiting captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had won the toss and elected to field.

The four-match series is tied 1-1.
