Swahili, the property of Shashi Chand Jain, JM Patel, Rohit J Patel and Vivek S Jain, appeals the most when a small field of three runners will take to the starting gates, in the Southern Regent Trophy, on the 31st day of the Mumbai meeting scheduled to be held at the Mahalaxmi race course, on Thursday.

Making his 14th appearance, the colt from Zadmal Singh’s stable will be ridden by Imran Chisty. Swahili has won four races in his last 13 starts. There has been a change in the jockey maybe because in the last winning run Dashrath Singh had been cautioned for failing to exercise control over his mount in the Rajpipla Trophy, which was won by Swahili.
