Pune: Fearless hitting by opener Irshad Sindhi and skipper Yusuf Pathan helped Baroda script a six-wicket win over Gujarat in the West Zone Twenty20 League at the Deccan Gymkhana here on Thursday.

Chasing 177, Baroda were in a spot of bother at 29 for 2 after six overs. Pathan walked in and played a blinder of a knock to rescue Baroda. The India discard crossed the half-century mark with the help of six sixes and two boundaries in just 21 deliveries.
