Sania-Shoaib reception on Thursday

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik pre-poned their marriage by three days as the couple held a small ceremony attended by their near and dear ones on Monday.

The marriage reception will take place on the April 15, for which noted ghazal singer Talat Aziz is flying down to Hyderabad for the occasion.

Though Sania and her family members could not be contacted on this sudden development, a family source  revealed to us that a thick security blanket was in place for the couple.

“Security guards have been hired by the Mirza family and they are mostly in plain clothes. At least 50 such guards with commando training will man the reception area. Both families and Sania and Shoaib have gone through hell in the run up to the wedding and they don’t want to take any chances,” the family source said.

The family friend also discloses that the couple is expected to travel to the Ajmer Sharif dargah to pray before they leave for their honeymoon.

“Plans are on. Sania and Shoaib are very keen to do this. They want to pray and thank the lord for letting everything fall in place for the wedding. They want to pray for a happy married life,” the source said. 

Friends of Shoaib, especially his team mates from Pakistan are expected to fly down for the reception.
