For the record, Sania will get married to Malik on April 15 in Hyderabad. Then the Mirzas would travel to Pakistan for ‘Walima’. The family has already been granted a visa by the Pakistani authorities.
“I will support India and play for India. He (Shoaib Malik) will play for Pakistan,” Sania Mirza said responding to media queries here on Tuesday.
Stating that she is relishing the “happy moments of her life”, Sania confirmed that she and Malik would settle down in Dubai. “It (Dubai) is like second home for me. It is a good place to live,” she declared.

Declining to disclose how she zeroed in on Malik, Sania said she first saw Malik ‘six or seven years back.’ “He was playing a match in which he scored 92 from 25 balls. He missed a world record that time,” she said.
There were protests in Hyderabad Bajrangdal. The protesters were opposing Sania’s marriage with a Pakistani national. Sania admitted that she thought about Malik’s nationality. “We are aware of the problems. But, it is the most important day of my life. We don’t want to talk about politics. If we had all those diplomacy and other issues in mind, we would not get married,” she said.
On the timing of the marriage too Sania had her own logic. “I have a lot of injuries. So, there is a lot of free time. This is the good time to get married.”But, will Sania wait till 2012 Olympics before having the first child? Though she did not give a direct answer, she said, “First I will play in 2012 Olympics and then we will talk about the child.”
Interestingly, unlike last time when she was engaged to Hyderabad’s Sohrab Mirza, her father Imran Mirza distributed sweets to the mediapersons who had turned for her briefing.
The break-up with Sohrab seems to be because of Sania’s love with Shoiab Malik. According to sources, both the players fell in love some six months back when Sania visited her aunt in Dubai. It’s only after that Sania decided to call off the engagement with Sohrab.
