Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik can finally heave a sigh of relief after a compromise was reached yesterday between Shoaib and the family of Ayesha Siddiqui, who claims to have married him.

This, finally, seems to have paved the way for his marriage with Sania.

Now, the couple are apparently networking with their close friends both in India and Pakistan to be present with them on April 15 — their wedding day.

A close friend of the Mirza family says, “Shoaib has been in constant touch with his pals in the Pakistani cricket team and all of them have given him their equivocal support. He wants some of his pals to come down for his wedding.”

“I am soo happy with all your support and prayers through the messages,” Shoaib tweeted a few days ago while confirming in another tweet that the marriage will happen on April 15.

“His friends in the Pakistani cricket team  who stood by him during the tough phase are now planning to come to India and stand as a witness for Shoaib during his marriage,” adds the family friend.
It was former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif who was most vocal about his support for Shoaib. Even as the mudslinging was on with Ayesha,  Rashid had apparently told the Pakistani media, “I appeal to all cricketers to stand by Shoaib.”

Meanwhile, Sania too has been appealing to her friends to stand by them. Her  colleagues on court like Mahesh Bhupathi had already tweeted about their support to her.
