KOCHI: Out of action due to a side strain, S Sreesanth is busy these days attending calls from overzealous parents seeking his advice on how to make their sons "IPL players" to earn quick money and fame.

"With IPL around, I keep getting calls from moms and dads asking how to make their sons as IPL players, because it is big exposure and big money," Sreesanth said.

Sreesanth said his recovery from the injury was going as planned and he hopes to return to the Indian team for the Sri Lanka series "as soon as possible."

The speedster had suffered a side strain in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and was advised to see the medical team at the National Cricket Academy at Bangalore.

The function organised by the Ernakulam District Cricket Association (EDCA) to honour him for achieving 50 wickets, he said, "right now I am injured. Please support and pray for me, hopefully I will get back to fitness and join the team as soon as possible."
