Pakistan coach Dave Whatmore has said on Twitter that Pakistan's two-wicket win over South Africa in the first match of Super Eight stage of the Twenty20 World Cup in Colombo has lifted the players' morale ahead of their second match against archrivals India on Sunday.

According to the News, Whatmore said that he was proud of each and every member of the team and the team has adopted the practice of never giving up.

Whatmore wrote on the social networking site that Umer Gul and Saeed Ajmal were the heroes of the team. He also revealed that Umer Gul was always the first to pad up during nets, the paper added.
