ShareMumbai: Mumbai and Karnataka will play ten-match junior hockey Test series, starting on December 7.

A trophy named after former legends from both these states will be instituted and prize money of Rs1 lakh for the winners and Rs50, 000 to runners-up will be up for grabs.
The series will be played on home and away basis. The first leg of five matches will be played in Mumbai.
After the end of this series, a proposal to select a squad of 18 players to go on a European or Oceania has been put forward. Else, the selected team will take part in any all India Tournament conducted by the respective associations.
