McLaren's star drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have unveiled McLaren's new car MP4-27 which they hope will take them past Sebastian Vettel's all-conquering Red Bull.
Hamilton called the new MP4-27 as 'very pretty' and believes there is no area in the car where McLaren hasn't worked on.
"I don't think there's one area we haven't worked on, so we will have no excuses. Our aim from the get-go will be to win the world championship," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.
He said that the McLaren team is keyed up for the coming season but also little anxious since they aren't aware of what others have done over the winters.
"We're excited, if a little bit apprehensive because we don't know what everyone else has done over the winter.
Hamilton also stressed on the significance of the first race of the season and wants to compete in the first race with complete confidence.
"It's very important for us to be quick straight out of the box so we arrive at the first race full of confidence," he added.
"I believe we're in good shape before the first test. I might not say that after the first two or three runs - but I don't think that will be the case. I can't wait to get back to it," he further added.
McLaren's new silver-colored dream machine looks like a likely development of last year's car apart from the sidepod shape and location of the exhausts.
