Jharkhand announces team for women's Twenty-20 league matches

A 15-member Jharkhand team led by Seema Singh was announced today for the women's Twenty-20 zonal league matches (East Zone) 2009-10 to be held from Monday at Guwahati.

Jeetendra Singh and former Indian cricketer Seema Desai will coach the team while Soumitro Pattanayak will be the team manager, said Rajesh Verma, secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA).

Jharkhand will take on Bengal in the opener on November 30 followed by Assam on December 2, Tripura on December 4 and Orissa on December 6.

Following is the team: Seema Singh (Capt), Kavita Roy, Moumita Chakraborty, Soma Sisodia, Neetu Singh, Sahina Parveen Ashraf (WK), Nishat Fatma (WK), Niharika, Asha Das, Rini Burman, Rakhi Sinha, Shubh Lakshmi, Anjana Dubey, Reena Singh
and Kanak Lata.
