Icy weather forces two Premier League postponements

Britain's icy weather has forced the postponement of two Premier League matches scheduled for Saturday.                                           

Fulham's home clash with bottom club Portsmouth and Burnley's match with Stoke City (1500GMT) were both postponed on Friday due to adverse weather conditions.                                           

"The safety of supporters is of paramount importance to the club and following an inspection of the areas surrounding Craven Cottage on Friday morning it was deemed unsafe for fans to travel," said a club statement on the Fulham website.
