Icebreaker won the CN Wadia Gold Cup, a Grade II race on Day 30 of the Mumbai meeting at the Mahalaxmi Race Course on Sunday.
Maseeha, a gelding from Zadmal Singh’s stable, set the pace and was followed by Star Alliance and Clarion Call in that order. However, with 100 meters to go for the winning post, Icebreaker pushed ahead and eventually won over Clarion Call by three-fourths of the length.
