Holders Germany and favourites Australia have been drawn in opposite groups for the men's World Cup in New Delhi, the International Hockey Federation said in a news release on Wednesday.
Top-ranked Germany, the Olympic champions, will face Netherlands, South Korea, New Zealand, Canada and Argentina in the pool phase in the Feb. 28-March 13 event.
World number two Australia, who beat Germany 5-3 to win a record 10th Champions Trophy title on Sunday, have been drawn with hosts India, Spain, England, Pakistan and South Africa.
