Four from Mumbai included in squad for U-19 cricket World Cup

Four Mumbai players have been included in the India squad for the U-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand from January 15-30, 2010. All-rounder Gaurav Jathar, wicket-keeper batsman Sufiyan Sheikh, left-arm spinner Harmeet Singh and seamer Saurav Netravalkar are the four Mumbai cricketers.

Rajasthan’s Ashok Menaria has been named as the skipper of the team. The squad announced on Sunday will also take a short tour to South Africa before the World Cup.
Defending champions India play their opening match against Afghanistan on January 15 in Lincoln. They then face Hong Kong in Christchurch on Jan 17 and play their final game of the group A against England on Jan 21.

The top two teams in each group will move to the quarter-finals.
