Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque has engrossed his name in the history of football by completing a treble of winning three major tournaments as a manager, which includes the Champions League during his spell as Real Madrid manager, the World Cup and the Euro Cup with the Spanish national team.

Del Bosque is the first boss ever to achieve the feat and, right now, it seems unlikely anyone will ever be able to better or even match his success.

Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas paid a shimmering tribute to the man-manager and master tactician that assumed the enormous task of carrying on from Euro 2008 winner Luis Aragones.

"He is very important because he always makes us calm. He transmits this tranquility, this way of just not making you nervous," The Sun quoted Fabregas, as saying.

"He has something which makes you calm and he lets you play - it makes you feel like the way you want. He's really been a special coach for Spain," he added.

Del Bosque has been well versed in taking charge of a star-studded dressing room as the boss of Real Madrid.

In the three and a half seasons in charge of legends like Zinedine Zidane, Brazilian Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, he won six trophies, which comprised of two La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues, the European Supercup and the Spanish Supercup.

Del Bosque was already a Bernabeu legend after winning five league championships and four Spanish Cups as a player in the 1970s.
