Czech Republic captain Jaroslav Navratil made a late change to his lineup for Saturday's Davis Cup final doubles against Spain, drafting in his top two Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych for the must-win match.
Navratil had named Lukas Dlouhy and Jan Hajek as his doubles partnership, but after finishing the first day 2-0 down, he opted to field his two leading players, who both lost their singles matches on Friday.
Spain, needing just a point to seal victory, stuck with their original line-up of Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez.
Spain's 2-0 lead came via singles wins for Rafael Nadal in straight sets against Berdych, and David Ferrer in an exhausting five-setter against Stepanek.
