Coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that the Chelsea stars are low on confidence, and reckons more clubs will join the race for the Premier League title in the days ahead.

Leaders Chelsea have only won one game in the last seven, and they failed to score for the first time in 34 matches, being held to a goalless draw at Birmingham, reports The Sun.

Today, they entertain Fulham before Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou head to the African Nations Cup.

Ancelotti conceded, "I think we lost a little bit of confidence in our play. This is normal when you don't get results. But we must maintain concentration because in a season it can happen that you have to overcome a difficult period. I think other teams have a possibility to win this title.”

"We did very well until the match against Arsenal, and now we are a little bit down. But we gave signs against Birmingham that are good for the future. Our aim is to win the title, and we are top of the list at the halfway point," he added.
