London: British footballer Ashley Cole is said to have settled a 200,000 pounds privacy case over his alleged affairs out of court.

Cole, 28, had filed a lawsuit against The Sun and Mirror Group Newspapers in April 2008 for invasion of privacy, reports The Daily Star.

And he was seeking a reported 200,000 pounds in damages over the kiss-and-tell stories. But a lawyer working for the Chelsea star revealed on November 2 that the parties had "resolved their differences amicably" in an undisclosed deal.
