Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey taken straight to hospital after tackle

Arsenal's teenage Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey was taken off on a stretcher and into a waiting ambulance at the side of the pitch after suffering a horrific injury at Stoke City on Saturday.   

Stoke's Ryan Shawcross was sent off for the 66th minute challenge in the Premier League match but looked utterly distraught as did players on both sides after the incident.

The Stoke defender appeared to be wiping away tears as he walked towards the dressing room. Ramsey, 19, was treated for several minutes and had an oxygen mask on his face as he was taken away.
