Manchester City wildboy Mario Balotelli has been snapped setting fire to an aerosol can in a luxury hotel suite, which the Italian moved into after setting fire to his 3-million-pound rented mansion.

The 21-year-old held a lighter in front of the can as he sprayed it, creating a ferocious-looking flame.

“What he is doing is very stupid. The flame could travel back down into the can, causing it to explode,” a Fire Industry Association spokesperson told The Mirror.

Mario caused £400,000 worth of damage to his Cheshire home in October after setting off rockets from inside the building with friends.

Though he initially denied responsibility for the accident, the truth emerged after he confessed to club officials.

He later attempted to save face by posing with a firework safety poster, saying, “It was a really stupid thing to do. Someone could have been hurt.”

An insider told The Mirror, “Mario needs to think before he acts.”
