Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he is not at all disappointed with his side's performance and added that he is still very proud of them despite settling with a 1-1 draw against Real Betis in their La Liga clash at the Benito Villamarin stadium.

Earlier, forward Karim Benzema netted a goal in the 71st minute of the match to rescue his side from a defeat against Real Betis. The 43-year-old asserted that his side played well in the second half of the game, calling on Madrid to work harder in order to claim victory in the upcoming matches.

"The good thing is that I saw an improvement late in the game, in the second half. We now have finished our third week together and we are going to keep working," the French manager was quoted as saying by Goal.com.

Zidane insisted that Real Madrid were still in a good path and would keep continuing with their line of work. "You have to take the positives - we lost two points and that's the negative, but we think this can be taken forward and we can fight for La Liga until the end," Zidane said.

With the draw, the Zinedine Zidane-led side have now dropped to the third spot in the La Liga table and now sit four points off Barcelona and Atlentico Madrid. Real Madrid will next lock horns with Espanyol on February 1.
