Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted that veteran mid-fielder Yaya Toure remains '100 percent committed' to the club, quashing rumours surrounding the Ivorian's future at the club.

The Ivorian international is away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with the national side and could be absent for four weeks due to his involvement in the tournament.

Pellegrini didn't have 'any doubts' about Yaya's committment to City, insisting that he was 'happy at the club', the BBC reported.

Reflecting on Yaya's absence, he further said that though his team would 'miss him' as he is an 'important player'. He signed off by saying that they didn't depend just on one player and must continue 'fighting for the title with or without Yaya', the report added.
