Yasir Arafat claims coach can't do everything for players post Pakistan's stumbling WC start

Following Pakistan's recent World Cup woes, all-rounder Yasir Arafat has claimed that the coach cannot do everything for the players in the squad.

Pakistan has started their World Cup campaign on a bad note, losing both of their opening games in the tournament. They lost the first match to archrivals India, followed by a humiliating loss to the West Indies in the second.

Pakistan now have to face Zimbabwe in the next match and Arafat believes that the team has to win three of their four remaining matches to qualify for the World Cup quarterfinals, Pak Passion reported.

Arafat is sure that the current head coach and former fast bowler, Waqar Younis, is giving a good advice to the bowlers, but added that at the end of the day it is up to the bowlers to implement that advice onto the field of play.

Arafat claimed that Younis is not going to physically move their hands to help them bowl effectively, adding that once the players walk onto the field it's up to them to perform, the coach cannot do everything for them.

The all-rounder stated that the players have to perform but claimed that he does wonder if they are incapable of bowling reverse swing or simply don't have the skills to bowl better for example by varying their pace.

The Pakistani bowlers have struggled on the pitches in Australia and New Zealand and with their World Cup campaign having started on a bad note, they are under increasing pressure to win their upcoming clash against Zimbabwe, the report added.
