Goldberg sent WWE fans into a tizzy when he returned after a decade on Monday Night Raw. And he set up a battle of the beasts as he accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge. The former champion was willing to stay retired until Lesnar’s manager Heyman’s trash-talk forced him to return. Goldberg promised he’d destroy Lesnar, with an epic ‘You’re last’.
He said: “The biggest thing I missed, other than kicking ass, is being a superhero for the kids all around the world. In this day and age, there ain't enough of us," he said. "I thought to myself, 'Maybe I have one more ass-kicking left in me.' I thought to myself, 'Maybe I have one bad-ass spear left in me.' Then I thought to myself, 'Maybe I have one last devastating jackhammer in me,'" Goldberg began. "So, Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you're next ... but most importantly, it means, Brock Lesnar, you're last!"
Goldberg’s return coincides with the WWE 2K17 video game where he is a playable character. Before coming to WWE, WCW was Goldberg’s stomping ground where he had a 173-match winning streak. He has always been known for his signature moves – the Speak and Jackhammer. Before he became a professional wrestler, he played college football for Georgia and played three years in the NFL.
