Worst own goal ever? Teenage Moldovan goalkeeper comically rolls ball in his own goal

A video uploaded on YouTube shows what the uploader claims is surely the worst own goal of all time as a young keeper blundered on his debut in what seems to be a comical faux pas.

The young Moldovan goalkeeper, Radu Mitu, 18, was 10 minutes into his first start for local club Milsami Ursidos when he comfortably saved a low shot against Rapid Ghidighici.

But the video shows that his attempt to throw the ball out to one of his defenders goes horribly wrong as he throws the ball into the bar and side net thus scoring a blunder own goal.

Young Mitu also let in a last-minute winner for Rapid as his side lost the Moldovan First Division match 2-1.

It was certainly a debut to remember for all the wrong reasons for the 18-year-old goal keeper. However, his humorous own goal has gone viral on the social media with many terming it as the worst own goal ever.
