Yuvraj Singh may be ruled out of the ICC World Twenty20 after he rolled his ankle during India's chase against Australia in Mohali on Sunday.
According to media reports, news from the dressing room suggests that Yuvraj's injury is not showing signs of quick improvement, and Manish Pandey, who impressed with his performance in Australia, will take his place.
Yuvraj Singh twisted his ankle while hopping to fend off a delivery while batting against Australia. Despite treatment by the physio, Yuvraj continued to struggle for the rest of his innings and was out for 21. India won the match by six wickets after Virat Kohli smashed a 51-ball 82.
Manish Pandey made a match-winning century in the 5th and final ODI against Australia in January to deny them a 5-0 whitewash, and is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in the Indian Premier League.
India next take on West Indies at Mumbai on March 31 in the semifinal.
