It is a well-known fact in cricketing circles that West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels doesn't share a good rapport with former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne, but on Sunday after leading his team to a record-breaking World T20 triumph, Samuels couldn't hold back his emotions and lashed out at the Aussie who had been criticising him through-out the tourney.

Incidentally, Samuels didn't have a good outing in the competition but he came to life in the final scoring an unbeaten 66 ball 85. He was adjudged the man of the match and when asked by about the experience, Samuels just went off the track and blasted Warne saying, "Shane Warne has been saying a lot of things. This (man of the match) is for Shane Warne. I do my talking with the bat and not the mic."

Warne had labelled Samuels as "embarrassing" and "pretty poor" following his dismissal in their World T20 semi-final against India in Mumbai but this reply will surely burn him from inside. However just after the Windies victory, Warne tweeted, "Congrats to both teams on an amazing final. Well done to the WI, well played Marlon & great hitting Brathwaite. Bring on some dancing haha!"
