Here is trivia following the South Africa-UAE game at Wellington on Wednesday.

 

1)UAE are yet to concede a century in World Cup 2015!

2)South Africa's score of 341 for 6 is the highest total without a century in World Cup cricket.

3) AB De Villiers' 99 was the third instance of a player missing out on a century in World Cup cricket; Adam Gilchrist (versus Sri Lanka in 2003) and JP Duminy (versus Ireland in 2011) were the other two batsmen.

4) This was the 25th time when a team has gone past the 300-run mark in World Cup 2015.

5) The last time UAE played South Africa in a World Cup game in 1996, Sultan Zarawani was hit by a bouncer from Allan Donald, whereas this time around Hashim Amla was on the receiving end by Mohammad Naveed!
