Leaders across the political spectrum on Thursday congratulated Team India for its victory against Bangladesh in the quarter-finals of the ongoing World Cup.
Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah singled out skipper MS Dhoni and opening batsman Rohit Sharma for praise in his congratulatory message.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore urged the team to keep winning.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee started a countdown to the final.

Meanwhile, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah quoted President Mukherjee while adding a message of his own.
