World Cup 2015: Pakistan will be under 'pressure' in opener against India, says Rohit Sharma

Raising temperatures ahead of the much awaited India-Pakistan Cricket World Cup opener, Indian cricket team opener Rohit Sharma has insisted that the pressure would be on Pakistan rather than them in their opening match on Sunday in Adelaide.

Pakistan would attempt to break their World Cup drought against reining champions India in their tournament opener on Sunday. But Sharma feels that the heat is on their arch-rivals Pakistan.

Sharma said that they know what they have to do to be at their best, insisting that the pressure would be on Pakistan. He claimed that Pakistan are the ones who have not won a game against India in the World Cup, insisting that his side would try and use it to their advantage, News.com.au reported.

However, Pakistan have won the 1992 World Cup in Australia.

India lost 2-1 at home to Pakistan two years ago and by one wicket in their Asia clash showdown at Dhaka last March where Rohit contributed a half-century.

However, India crushed Pakistan by eight wickets in their rain affected Champions Trophy meeting in June 2013, the report added.
