4th over - Adil draws first blood as Paul Stirling plays across and misses the line to be out LBW. Ed Joyce opens his account with a lovely cover drive that races to the boundary. IRE: 15-1.
6th over - Adil is warned for running on the pitch. Porterfield pulls the last delivery for his second boundary. IRE: 22-1.
7th over - Porterfield picks up the length quickly and swivels to hit Khan over square leg for the first six of the innings. IRE: 29-1.
8th over - Rahat Ali is introduced into the attack and Ed Joyce gets an early reprieve. He cuts the short and wide delivery but Ahmed Shehzad is wrong-footed at point, moving to his left when the ball went right and could get only one hand to it before spilling it. IRE: 35-1.
