World Cup 2015: England pacer Steven Finn felt like a 'wally' post defeat to New Zealand

England pace bowler Steven Finn has revealed that swashbuckling batsman Brendon McCullum made him 'feel like a wally' during the eight wicket defeat to New Zealand in their World Cup tie in Wellington.

Finn conceded 49 runs off his twelve deliveries in the embarrassingly short match, which saw McCullum smacking six sixes off Finn's bowling. 

McCullum amassed 77 runs off just 25 balls, guiding his team to an eight-wicket victory in the 13th over. Recalling his performance, Finn said that it isn't a 'nice feeling' when delivery after delivery disappeared over his head, adding that one felt like a 'wally' out there, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The right-arm fast bowler further said that he was 'obviously very disappointed', 'gutted' and 'embarrassed', insisting that 'it would happen again' and they would have to 'find a way of dealing with it'. England will next face Sri Lanka on Sunday in Wellington.

Finn added that he had 'bowled well throughout the trip' and had taken wickets, claiming that he didn't feel 'too downhearted by it'. He insisted that he has to put it to the back of his mind then and was thinking about the next three games.
