Rohit Sharma's pivotal knock of 82 today helped India reach a position of dominance at the end of the third day's play against New Zealand at the Eden Gardens In Kolkata.
The stylish right-hander walked into bat when India were at a precarious position at 43 for 4. However, Rohit stitched crucial partnerships, first with skipper Virat Kohli and then with wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha to guide India to 227 for 8 at the end of day's play.
Rohit's position in the Test eleven has been questioned time and again, hence, Sunday's knock has given voice to his supporters who took to Twitter to express their elation.
