Every now and then Indian fans and critics doubt whether Wriddhiman Saha will be able to fill in the giant shoes left by shorter formats' captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. To some extent the Bengal wicket-keeper has been able to address the situation with his stable and responsible batting performances. However, when you are compared with MSD, then the street smart glove work of the senior cricketer will definitely come into account and Saha did an encore of Dhoni by effecting a clever yet cheeky run out on Friday during the second Test between India and England at Visakhapatnam.

During England's first innings, Joe Root tucked a Ravindra Jadeja delivery on the leg side and signalled his partner Haseeb Hameed to come back for a couple of runs. As the 19-year-old was almost halfway down the pitch, Root sent him back but before the latter could make his ground, Saha collected a throw from Jayant Yadav from the deep and as he was way ahead of the stumps, the stumper flicked the ball on to the timber with his right hand. That run out brought back memories of Dhoni's antics who ran Kiwi batsman Ross Taylor in similar fashion in the ODI series against New Zealand that concluded last month.

England were left with a mountain to climb after India made 455 in their first innings before returning to blow away the tourists' top order on a spin-dominated second day. The visitors reached 103 for five, trailing India by 352 runs, at stumps with all-rounder Ben Stokes and wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow unbeaten at the crease.
