Crystal Palace's official twitter handle named Benzema in their team sheet

It was a nightmarish week for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. After being dropped out of the France squad for Euro 2016, he might have suffered a mini heart attack seeing his name pop up on Crystal Palace team sheet. To add to his agony, he was not even in the playing XI but put on the bench as a substitute!
If this was real, Benzema would have been devastated to see his shock move from Los Galacticos to Premier League side to Crystal Palace. However, not only to his but everyone's relief, it was an error done by the official Twitter handle of Crystal Palace who named Benzema on their team sheet.
In Crystal Palace's weekend encounter with Arsenal, Palace tweeted their team sheet for the matchday with Benzema named in the substitutes.
It was clearly an error by the club's twitter handle who seemed to not know their team players quite well. January signing Emmanuel Adebayor was replaced with Karim Benzema.
Although the tweet was taken down immediately, twitterverse didn't miss the error and was quick to comment.

Crystal Palace by mistake named Benzema as a sub instead of Adebayor.

The only thing that would have angered Benzema more was that he was benched to make way for Connor Wickham!
