Openers David Warner and Matt Renshaw gave the visitors a solid start on Day 1 of the first Test between India and Australia being played in Pune on Thursday.

On a crumbling track, Virat Kohli introduced Ravichandran Ashwin in the second over itself, hoping the offie would get the better of the two left-handed batsmen.

The Indian skipper's plan, though, didn't bear fruit as the Aussie batsmen showed grit and determination to give their side a strong foundation in the all-important first session of the match.

However, as well as the experienced Warner played, he did enjoy a massive stroke of luck while he was batting on 20 before he was eventually bowled by Umesh Yadav for 38.

After nicely settling into his groove, the diminutive batsman, out of nowhere, saw his leg-stump getting knocked over round-his-legs by Team India's other off-spinner Jayant Yadav. But before the hosts could start celebrating, the umpire had raised his arm to indicate that it was a No-Ball.

Here's the video that shows Jayant's huge over-step:

Even though Warner didn't go on to capitalise on his good fortune, the Indians could do well to not commit such elementary mistakes in their quest to defeat the Aussies.
