The ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy has been the most thrilling series of India's lengthy home season. Be it individual performances, on-field controversies or sledging episodes, this series has lived up to the expectations in every possible way. And now that it is coming to an end with India needing just 87 runs to reclaim the silverware, Ravindra Jadeja and Matthew Wade decided to go full throttle against each other and a particular Hindi cuss word dominated their conversation.

While everybody saw the video posted on Indian Cricket Team's Facebook page where Steve Smith, Wade and Jadeja are seen having some serious altercations in English, a new clipping has gone viral which shows Wade asking Jadeja, "What is the meaning of mad*****d?"

Here's what happened when Wade confronted Jadeja at the striker's end

Wade: What does mad*****d mean?

Jadeja: I don't know. You should ask somebody else

Wade: I have to ask?

Jadeja: I didn't tell you anything

Wade: I just want to know what it means. Is it hello?

Jadeja: No and I didn't tell you anything

Wade: Ya you told me that

Jadeja: Ok if you want to take it you can take it

Jadeja was the star for India as he shone with bat and ball to put the hosts in a commanding position to secure a series-clinching victory over Australia in the fourth and final Test on Monday.

After two days of fluctuating fortunes at the end of a tight series which is level at 1-1, India moved ahead in the morning session when they fashioned a valuable 32-run lead before being dismissed for 332 on the stroke of lunch.

On the liveliest of the four pitches used in the series, Australia's top order struggled against the bouncing ball before Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin shared six wickets between them to bowl out the tourists for 137. Chasing 106 to complete a 2-1 series victory, India were 19 for no loss at the close at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium which is hosting its first test.

And he had this to say when asked about his banter with Wade.
