The Australians got a taste of their own medicine and guess who was the doctor? It was none other than Virat Kohli. Just one day after Glenn Maxwell mocked Kohli's injury by holding his own shoulder, the Indian captain returned the favour in his own aggressive way. This time it was during Australia's second innings.

Much of Saturday's news was about how Maxwell's incident was shameful as he mocked someone who was carrying an injury. Even after third day's play, Murali Vijay was asked about the particular incident, to which he replied, "A lot of things are happening but we are really focused on the game. We have a match in hand, we have to go close to the target -- these are things running in our heads in the dressing room. All the players are aware of it (Maxwell's mocking). Whatever they are doing, we take it sportingly. There's going to be a second innings, so if they can take it that way, it would be great."

And Vijay's words were vindicated on the field as soon as Australians came to bat at the fag end of fourth day. In the very sixth over, Ravindra Jadeja got one to turn viciously from the rough outside David Warner's off stump and the ball went between his bat and pad to castle the middle stump. As Indians celebrated, Kohli galloped like a horse and continuously pointed to his shoulder, trying to gather Warner's attention. Now it doesn't need a rocket science to understand the skipper's antics.

Jadeja took two wickets in two overs to give India a chance to defeat Australia and go 2-1 up in the series. Australia were 23/2 at stumps, needing another 129 to avoid innings defeat on the final day on Monday.
