If there is ever a survey to find the most fidgety batsman in the history of cricket, Steve Smith would probably top that list. During the on-going second Test between India and Australia in Bengaluru, Brett Lee did a rough count of the number of small adjustments the Aussie skipper makes before taking strike, and the result was an astonishing 22. 

This habit of Smith has been a cause for much amusement to the Indian players. In the first Test in Pune, Ravindra Jadeja had hilariously mocked the prolific batsman's rapid head movements.

Here's a video of that incident:

Ishant Sharma, though, took the mimicry a step further and added his personal touch while aping Smith - a rather ridiculous expression to go with the head movements.

The two teams were in the middle of an intense battle on Sunday morning, with the hosts eager to run-through the Aussie batting line-up after scoring a paltry 189 in their first innings. The plan was to try and rattle the mainstay of the opposition by getting under his skin, which is what lead to Ishant's histrionics.

Even though the lanky pacer failed to get the wicket of Smith, he did manage to crack up Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper, who hails from the same state as Ishant - Delhi, couldn't stop laughing at his mate's antics.
