It seems that the ICC U-19 World Cup can't just get rid of controversies. After Nepal player Raju Rijal was accused of being overage on Monday, 'Mankading' was the topic of discussion on Tuesday.

West Indies progressed to the quarters under controversial circumstances when pacer Keemo Paul Mankaded Zimbabwe’s last batsman Richard Nagarava. The African minnows needed three runs from the last over to qualify for the quarterfinal. But, Keemo Paul, noticed that Nagarava had stepped out of his crease to take a single and the bowler calmly knocked out the bails from it's groove while he was in his bowling stride.

West Indies un sportingly appealed for the wicket and the umpires referred upwards. The third umpire had to signal the end of Zimbabwean innings as according to the law of cricket that is a legitimate dismissal process. West Indies while batting first scored 226. Zimbabwe chased well but lost a couple of wickets in the last few overs and a controversial run out ended their World Cup aspirations.
