Walter the orangutan replaces Paul the octopus as new football mystic

London: An orangutan has reportedly replaced Paul the octopus to become the new 'football mystic' after he predicted that Borussia Dortmund will beat Bayern Munich in the German Cup finals.

Walter the orangutan, who is an inmate of Dortmund zoo, has reportedly earned a reputation for successfully predicting results.

According to the Metro.co.uk, Walter gave his biggest call yet by predicting that Borussia Dortmund will bag the German Cup final this weekend after beating rivals Bayern Munich.

Walter, who makes predictions by drawing merchandise bearing the clubs logo from identical footballs, had initially appeared to be going for Bayern but he settled on his hometown club Dortmund, the report added.
