Another yorker on Twitter by Sehwag.
Updated : Sep 30, 2017, 10:00 AM IST
Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan go back a long way. Born in the same year, 1978, they both played together for India for the better parts of their careers.
Their career graph shows striking similarities as well. After making their First-Class debut around the same time, they both went on to thrive under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly, before finally hanging up their boots around their own birthdays in 2015.
While, Sehwag, the Nawab of Najafgarh, was known to tear bowlers apart at the top of the order, Zaheer ran through batting orders with his skill and sagacity. Having represented the country together for over a decade, they have both forged a strong friendship which continues to this day.
Off-late, Sehwag has become a Twitter superstar with his witty comments, sparing nobody. After engaging Sachin Tendulkar in a friendly duel on the micro-blogging site just a few days ago, the Delhi dasher took to Twitter to wish Zaheer for his birthday on October 7. And true to form, Sehwag didn't hold back in getting cheeky with his buddy.
Here's what he said,
Happy Birthday Gyan Baba.
